Welcome
SiNAPSA Neuroscience Conference ’11 (SNC’11) is a Central European neuroscience event with the status of a FENS Featured Regional Meeting.
The moving force behind the SNC’11 is a consortium of neuroscientists from Slovenia with colleagues from Trieste, Italy, and Zagreb, Croatia, who strive to make the SNC’11 an excellent neuroscience meeting and use the opportunity for networking and future collaborations. With its satellite meetings and the accompanying special events devoted to neuroscience education and promotion, SNC’11 will be a hub of European neuroscience activities in 2011.

About the Programme

Satellite, Special and Social Events
A number of satellite and special events complement the core scientific programme of the SNC’11, and will be accompanied by a rich social programme for participants and accompanying persons.
Venue
Cankarjev dom Cultural and Congress Centre (CD CC), Ljubljana, Slovenia. The CD CC Congress Agency handles participant registration, hotel reservations and travel arrangements for active participants who require a EU visa. You can contact the agency at [email protected].
Language
The official language of the SNC’11 and accompanying events is English.
Travel grants
Around 85 travel grants have been awarded to eligible candidates, who will actively participate at the SNC’11. Most stipends were awarded by FENS, several national neuroscience societies, Central and Eastern European (CEE) Regional Committee of IBRO, and SiNAPSA.
