in the tradition of «Ecole Pratique Jean Bancaud» (EPJB)

Who:
epileptologists with experience in EEG and tertiary care of patients with epilepsy, physicians , psyhologists, nurses, teaching proffesions, remedial teachers, EEG tehnicians, social workers, representatives of NGO dealing with people with epilepsy and learning disabilty

What:
Transmission of practical electro-clinical diagnostic work, decision-making and reasoning in the management of patients with severe epilepsies, taught in small groups and real life situations. The 2014 School will be devoted to investigating seizures with the available means on board (not always optimal in the region), organised in the tradition of the EPJB Schools for the ninth time in Europe with important European participation to give it an added European value. Introduction of a topic rarely discussed in these circles – Psyhiatric comorbidity in people with epilepsy and learning disability shall make the meeting relevant to wider professional audience, representing an added Topic/Professional value. Patient data are used in Workshops and Poster sessions, adding real life clinical value to the educational framework.
